Getting Money Faster

Getting Money Faster
By Jeanna Gabellini

The title of this article sounds like the subject line of a spam email! I'm going to give you all some nuts and bolts about how to attract money faster. My business partner, Eva, calls the "how" a four-letter word. It's because we're so busy figuring out how we will make things work out, that many times we end up in resistant or stressful way of thinking. The other hard part about figuring out how something will manifest itself, is that if you can't figure out the how, you think it can't possibly happen.

There is an infinite amount of ways something can manifest. Most times, even if you have everything planned perfectly, you get to the end result of what you wanted in a different way than you thought. Is this making sense? I learned a long time ago at a seminar that the equation for getting a goal is 100% intention and 0% mechanism = 100% results, which means the mechanism (the way you go about getting something) has nothing to do with final outcomes. It's just a means to an end.

Okay enough about how "how" gets in the way. Let's give you some
how-to's on getting that cash faster! If you are one of those folks
who is frustrated with how the money is not showing up yet, or you think it will never show up or you need it right now because you just found out that you owe $20,000 in taxes ... relax! You are not alone. I go through the same thoughts from time to time, but then I get on it!

"Getting on it" meaning I handle my emotions FIRST! I ask myself, "What I am scared about?" Even if I don't feel the emotion of fear, it's there. You're either in abundance or lack, love, or fear. So, if you are ever spending a lot of time in your brain on a certain topic and it's not bringing a lot of joy, you are in lack/fear. If I think of purchasing a new home and I'm not doing anything about it, I ask myself, "Jeanna, what are you scared of?" The answer: Not sure I could attract the amount of money I need for down payment, closing costs, and monthly house payments for the dream house in the next few months. I don't know how.

How-to #1: Identify the Fear
Once you identify the fear, you can now focus on the opposite. Back to the house example: I will find a fun, fast way to create all the money I need in the next few months. The way to do this will present itself soon. There are a million solutions to every obstacle. I've got the Universe on my side.

How-to #2: Create the Intention
Next, look for a strategy that feels easy and aligned with your core
values. For instance, if I needed more money than I currently had to buy a new home, I would make a plan. That plan would include coming up with fresh ways to create new business. They would support me in doing only the things that I truly like doing. I wouldn't take on 20 more new coaching clients. That wouldn't feel good for me, but they'd be easy to attract because I have lots of proof in my life that it's easy for me to attract coaching clients. I'd be on coaching calls all week long and overwhelmed.

What would feel even easier and faster is to do a couple of my Xtreme Abundanz Coaching Adventurz. Just a few a month would take up only a few days and I would make even more than coaching. This might be a bit more for me to emotionally embrace, as my Gremlin likes to tell me these kinds of clients are not as easy to attract ... because I don't have lots of proof that it's easy.

I also would not go on a complete money diet/budget. That would make me feel rebellious or like my freedom was being taken away. But what would feel good to me is to start socking away more money per month into a savings designed specially for the house. I might cut back on shopping for clothes, bobbles, decorative items, and then do my normal fun things like skiing and skydiving. I would give more attention overall to my business. I would also consider flipping a piece of real estate. This might be enough to get both the down pay and closing costs.

Remember there is no "right" way to do this. The only way to make a plan is to look outside of your normal way of thinking, make it fit with your lifestyle and values. Listen to others' ideas, but only take away what feels right to you.

How-to #3: Create a Strategy, Brainstorm, and Make It Real.

How-to# 4: Acknowledge Your Gremlin Conversations and Move Forward Anyway.
One of my favorite mentors, Todd Tresidder (http://www.FinancialMentor.com) always says, "Move forward as an optimist, but cover your butt like a pessimist."
This means that, YES, you expect to get the money and you also take the steps to ensure that you put in place a safety net and you inform yourself of choices and information that will serve you.

How-to #5: Expect Money to Come to You Abundantly.

How-to #6: Know All of Your Choices and Be Smart About What You Choose.
Lastly, you're going to want to be at peace about whatever your money situation is currently. If you are upset about it or keep
acknowledging that it isn't enough, you will move towards your money goal at a snail's pace. You don't need to like it, but you do not want to fixate on the problem. Focusing on the problem is not inspiring.
Focusing on the problem gets you ... what? More of the problem, of course! Whenever you are in a situation you don't like, know that it is a temporary state. Your natural state of being is one of abundance and prosperity.

How-to #7: Focus on the Horizon and Do Not Resist Where You Are.
Now, for goodness sakes, totally expect more money from now on. Take actions that a person expecting wealth would take. Be grounded in your choices and have a ton of fun on this journey.

Abundance Abounds

Abundance Abounds
by Eva Gregory, CPCC

Does wealth mean monetary success? Or can it mean more than just money? When one speaks of wealth, the natural inclination is to assume money is being referred to. But there are so many other things in life than just money. One can have an abundance of friends, time, good health, personal success, wisdom, or a multitude of other things that is not primarily associated with money.

It is said that the wealth and success of the world of controlled by a mere ten-percent of the population. Thus, should it be assumed that there is no more than what those in the “ten-percent” control, and the rest of us should throw up our hands in futility? That ninety-percent of the population should just be happy with what we have because there is no more available to us? Thankfully, the Universe does not put such limitations on us. Abundance truly does abound.

Too many people assume that if someone has a great deal of wealth it means that someone else has to make do with less. As if there is only a certain amount of success or wealth to go around that is stockpiled somewhere and once it’s depleted, that’s it. But that’s not how it works. Consciousness is at the root of everything. Abundance, wealth, success and prosperity are created and there is no limit on how much is available.

Think of new products that come into the market. Many change the way the world operates, but just because a different product or manufacturer comes onto the scene, does not always mean that another has to go under to make room for the new arrival. The same is true for the other facets of life, as Ralph learned. Ralph fancied himself an inventor. He hadn’t come up with “the” big idea or patent yet, but he was hopeful, that is, until his neighbor Stan came up with an idea and began to work on his very own patent. Ralph began to lose hope that he’d ever make it as an inventor. After all, what were the odds that two neighbors would both patent ideas that would bring them great success? Tired of all of his recent negativity, Ralph’s wife gave him a pep talk. She told him that she loved him, supported his ingenuity and had great faith in his abilities. She also told him that he’d be foolish to base the possibility of his success on someone else’s accomplishments. After all, it was like comparing apples to oranges. Imagine how far behind the world would be in all aspects, if everyone believed that there was only but so much available and once that imaginary quota was reached there was no more room for new ideas, advancements or opportunities. Ralph still hasn’t come up with his big invention, but after helping his neighbor through the patent process, Ralph recognized a need for his services, and opened his own patent consultancy business. His business is growing, and he believes that he will be successful.

Abundance is just that, plentiful. One must put the energy in place that there is enough of whatever is desired to go around. One is only as limited as one’s desire. The reality is that the boundary of abundance is infinite. Go ahead, grab yours!

Close Your Eyes and Dream

Close Your Eyes and Dream
by Eva Gregory

Despite what Wes Craven would have you believe, dreams cannot harm you, but they can help you immensely. Not the ones you have when you're sleeping, but the ones you hold in your heart ... your fondest desires. Those dreams can shape your reality if you take the time to give them life ... to visualize them. Do you ever wonder about the self-confidence that successful people always seem to have? It's that self-confidence that got them where they wanted to be. They focused on the goal and the mind and body made it happen.

Do you ever "what if"? Instead of playing "what if", why not play "I am". How does one play? It all comes back to be-ing. You can be what you want if you can picture yourself being it, living it, experiencing it. Close your eyes, relax, and imagine that you ARE the successful ______, and that you live in the beautiful __________, overlooking _________. You have a wonderful life. You are able to relax and enjoy life to the fullest. You are content and all of your worries are gone. Use all 5 of your senses.
Elaborate from there. What kind of house do you live in? Where is it located? Is this your summer home? What does the air smell like when you arrive at your home? Is it by the sea? Is it in the country?

Can you see it clearly? How does it make you feel? Do you feel like it is really yours? Do you feel as though you've earned it, that you deserve all that you are visualizing? This too is part of the process. When your feelings are one with your thoughts and beliefs, and they are focused on the positive goals that you have set, the picture that you are holding in your mind's eye ... they will begin manifesting. In essence, you've used your thoughts to attract the people, ideas, situations, etc. that will bring you the vision that you are holding of yourself. Thus creating your reality.

Bridget was feeling exceptionally low when a friend suggested that she schedule a session with a personal coach. She was hesitant and skeptical, thinking that there was not anything that her coach could tell her that she hadn't already thought of, envisioned, or dreamed of herself. She found that she was both right and wrong in her assumptions. When she met Dora she was impressed by how grounded she was and by how much they had in common. She also found out that a couple of years ago before Dora discovered coaching, that she was feeling adrift and had a business that was floundering. Bridget readily identified with this because her gift shop had been doing so poorly lately, that she had a number of creditors calling looking for payment. Dora told her that she used visualization to obtain her goals. Bridget scoffed at the idea. But when Dora explained that someone told her that if she could not visualize herself as a success that she would never be a success ... it began to make sense. Bridget didn't think she thought of herself as a failure, but realized that she also did not think of herself as a success.

Bridget spent 15 minutes twice a day visualizing herself running a successful business, living in the house of her dreams and living a debt free life. After a few weeks, she noticed the change in the level of confidence she had in her abilities. She approached her business dealings with more self-confidence which in turn began to increase her bottom line. Her increase in confidence made her much more attentive to her customers which produced larger sales. With Dora as her coach, Bridget used her dreams to obtain her reality. She visualized, imagined, spoke about and wrote down her goals to support her state of be-ing. She refused to back down and allow limiting thoughts to tarnish her future.

If Bridget could do it, so can you. Let go of the limiting thoughts and begin by embracing the life that you want, desire, and deserve. Let the picture you see in your mind support your goals and you will help them materialize that much faster. Let your dreams be the guide to your future and the road to your success. You just have to close your eyes and ... DREAM.
